Haysley’s Graphix | Instagram Post Comparison
I conducted a performance comparison between two content strategies on my business Instagram page to better understand which content style generated the strongest audience response. The first post featured images I captured and professionally edited from the Phi Mu Fraternity Kappa Xi Chapter executive shoot, using authentic photography, multiple tagged contributors, and collaborative audience exposure. The second post was a traditional promotional graphic advertising a spring graduation photography special with targeted hashtags and direct booking messaging.
The collaborative photography post significantly outperformed the promotional content, generating 3,865 views, reaching 1,556 accounts, and producing 46 profile visits. In comparison, the promotional graphic generated 355 views, reached 193 accounts, and resulted in 6 profile visits. The results demonstrated that original photography, collaborative posting, and experience-driven content created stronger engagement and broader visibility than standard promotional graphics. This comparison provided valuable insight for future content strategy, brand growth, and audience engagement.
LinkedIn Profile Optimization
I worked with a client pursuing career opportunities in the engineering field whose LinkedIn profile had limited visibility, appearing in searches only 2–3 times per week. My goal was to strengthen the client’s professional presence and optimize both LinkedIn and supporting materials for recruiter searches within a competitive industry.
To achieve this, I rewrote the About section to better communicate the client’s experience, goals, and value to employers. I added relevant skills, refined profile content, and strategically incorporated targeted industry keywords such as manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, quality engineering, and operations analysis. I also edited and enhanced the profile photo, created a polished background banner, completed account verification, and updated the client’s resume to ensure consistency across all professional branding materials.
As a result of these updates, the profile’s weekly search appearances increased from 2–3 times per week to more than 50 appearances per week across engineering companies and recruiters. This case study demonstrated how strategic branding, optimized content, and cohesive career materials can significantly improve LinkedIn visibility and create stronger professional opportunities.
Play It Safe Flyer Campaign
I created a promotional flyer for Play It Safe through Blackbelt Regional Child Advocacy Center to increase awareness of its free child safety video resources. The objective was to communicate important educational information in a clear, professional, and approachable format that would encourage families, educators, and community members to utilize the program’s resources.
To accomplish this, I designed a visually engaging layout with strong hierarchy, concise messaging, and trust-centered visuals that supported the mission of both organizations. The flyer emphasized the accessibility of the free video resources while maintaining a welcoming and informative tone. Careful attention was given to readability, call-to-action placement, and overall visual balance to maximize effectiveness across both digital and printed distribution.
While exact figures remain confidential, the campaign contributed to a measurable increase in visibility and engagement with Play It Safe’s free resources. This case study demonstrated how strategic design and effective communication can help nonprofit organizations expand awareness and better serve their communities.
