Graphix
Logo Designs
I create unique logo designs solely using Adobe Illustrator. To ensure that I avoid any potential copyright issues, I prefer to design everything except the fonts from scratch. The two “graphix” you see here are samples from my Graphic Design course. The first one represents a marathon that aims to raise awareness for rheumatoid arthritis, while the second one is for a baby products company that uses natural aromas and ingredients in their products.
Disc Golf Jersey Logos
Recently, I designed two custom logos for a client who is going on a European disc golf tour. My client requested a patriotic design, and I created a logo with a flying disc featuring a USA-themed gradient. Additionally, I designed a patch with his initials (MAB) in a custom-drawn style. Since the client has colorful tattoos, I considered his personality and preferences and incorporated the pink and blue yin-yang tattoo into the design. The logos were created to showcase my ability to work with clients and meet their specific design requests.
Movie Poster Layouts
As a challenge for my Graphic class, my colleagues and I had to compete in a fake movie poster competition. We were tasked with making three different genres of movies with the same title we were assigned. My title consisted of “As If”, and I chose to create Sci-Fi, Romance, and Horror genres. Fortunately, I won this competition with my horror film and shocked my peers with a unique retro thriller poster. To create each of these, I used free sites to obtain the images/vectors. I edited their coloring and sizing in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I also downloaded new fonts from dafont.com and Adobe Fonts.
